Memorial services for Ronald E. Horsman, 68, of Huntington, will be held Thursday, February 7, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at 2nd Chance Christian Fellowship with Brother Joe Sawyer officiating. The family will receive friends and loved ones from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. prior to the service at the church. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Carroway Funeral Home.
Mr. Horsman was born November 26, 1950 in Monticello, Missouri, the son of the late Mary Henrietta (Tucker) and Leewill Edward Horsman. He died Friday, February 1, 2019 in a Lufkin hospital.
Mr. Horsman had lived in the Huntington area since 1965 and was the owner of Sportsman’s Corner. He was a family man who loved his wife and family. Mr. Horsman attended 2nd Chance Christian Fellowship.
Survivors include his wife of 31 years, Sharon Horsman of Huntington; children and their spouses, Jason Horsman and wife Kristin of Louisiana, Dustin Horsman of Mississippi, Tandy Parrott and husband Henry Nerren of Huntington, James Parrott of Huntington, Michael Parrott of Huntington, and Mitchell Parrott and wife Anissa of Zavalla; grandchildren, Amber Brianne Nerren, Henry Alan Nerren, C.J. Horsman, Eli Horsman, and Mason Horsman; brother, Douglas Edward Horsman of Big Sandy; sisters, Mary Willetta Horsman of Alexandria, Virginia, and Rebecca Ann Biche’ of Virginia; cousins, Kay and Richard Dodd of Missouri; and well as numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
