Robin Denise Ivy

Robin Denise Ivy, 61, of Point Blank, Texas died Tuesday, December 26, 2023 at her residence, after a courageous battle with cancer. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Carroway Funeral Home. Memorial services will be held at a later date.

Robin was born June 2, 1962 in Kingsville, Texas to Emily Irene (Thurston) and Robert Earl Brown. Her life’s dream was to be a Registered Nurse and she took great joy in helping others for over 20 years in the healthcare field. She enjoyed traveling with her brother and adored her nieces and nephew. Robin loved her family dearly and the happiness she brought into their lives will be cherished forever.

Survivors include her sisters and brothers-in-law, Melissa and Jerry Holcombe, and Sharon and Gary Sides, all of Huntington; brother, David Dominey of Huntington; nieces and nephew, Mattie Marberry, Sarah Wales and husband Derek, and DeWayne Roberts and wife Tiffany; and father, Herman Dominey of Huntington.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Boyd Ivy; daughter, Emily Nicole Marberry; and mother, Emily Dominey.
