Robert Williams

Funeral services for Robert Williams, 74, of Diboll will be held Sunday, February 22, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Robert Mettlen officiating. Cremation will follow the services.

Mr. Williams was born November 29, 1951 in Lufkin, Texas to the late Roberta (Lester) and Arvle Williams, and died Wednesday, February 18, 2026 at his residence surrounded by his family.

Mr. Williams was a lifetime resident of Diboll. He was always a hard worker and owned many small businesses. Mr. Williams built custom homes for many years, then opened his retirement business, Home Building Supplies. He enjoyed hunting and feeding his fish.

Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Janic “Jan” (Moser) Williams; daughters and sons-in-law, Ashley Williams, Kristal and Rodney McFarland Jr., and Robyn and Scott Cayton; grandchildren and spouses, Kacy and Anthony Clark, Dustin Brewster, RJ and Maddy Haggard, Samantha and Colton Tate, Kaden Brasher, Jersey Stuckey, Ethan McFarland, Sydney McFarland, Audi Stuckey, Nevaeh McFarland, Sophia McFarland, Keshaun McFarland, Evan McFarland, Elijah McFarland, and DeVante “DJ” McFarland; sisters, Shirley Drinkard and Alene Johnson; brothers and sister-in-law, Royce Williams and Ronnie and Rose Williams; family friend, Evonne Nerren; honorary son, Ricky Morris; and a number of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his parents and granddaughter, Haley Reiger.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Saturday evening at the funeral home.
