Robert Frank Hatch

Robert Frank Hatch, 83, of Point Blank, Texas, passed away on May 29, 2024. He was born on May 31, 1940 in Fremont, Michigan.

Mr. Hatch proudly served in the United States Marine Corp for four years. He was a salesman for Western Auto, Lowe's, and Bison's Lumber Company, as well as a real estate agent. Known for his exceptional cabinetry making skills, he worked as a builder, creating numerous homes and remodeling projects until the age of 78.

Robert was a member of the Onalaska First United Methodist Church. He enjoyed singing in the church choir, boating, fishing, wood working, and spending time with friends.

He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Winnie K. Hatch; daughter, Tammy Arlington of Houston; daughter-in-law, Beverly Hatch of Warren; sons, Len Dannhaus (Amy) of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Luke Hatch (Ramona) of Huntington, Paul Hatch (Tara) of Lufkin; his former wife, Ruby Hatch of Huntington; sisters, Kathy Johnson, Jean Fodrocy, Christine Ammons, Cheryl Lane, Linda McKenzie; brothers, Allen Hatch, Gene Black, Mark Black; as well as grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Robert was preceded in death by his mother, Lillian Hatch; biological father, Garth Black; adopted father, Hubert Hatch; son, Mark Hatch; sisters Judy Sietsema, Karen Black; and brothers, Lee Black and William Black.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 6, 2024, from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Carroway Funeral Home, 2704 S. John Redditt Dr., Lufkin, Texas 75904, followed by a funeral service beginning at 2:00 p.m.  Mr. Hatch will be laid to rest at Rosedale Cemetery in Sour Lake.
