Mr. Gardner was born December 13, 1981 in Kansas City, Kansas to the late Maurita (Brown) and Jerry Gardner, and died Monday, June 9, 2025 in Nacogdoches, Texas.
Mr. Gardner served in the U.S. Army and worked as a Conductor for Union Pacific Railroad. He had great love for the Lord. He was a member of Cornerstone United Pentecostal Church and was involved with the Breakfast Ministry. Mr. Gardner was a silly, fun guy. He was crazy about Superman, Godzilla, dinosaurs, and knew everything about all the superheroes. He loved swords, playing Dragon Ball Z, and dabbled in seven different languages. And he dearly loved his family, especially his girls.
Survivors include his wife, Jennifer (Dunn) Gardner of Lufkin; daughters, Evangeline Gardner and Emmalela Gardner of Lufkin; brothers and sister-in-law, Jerry, Jr. and Jessica Gardner, and Mike Gardner, all of Lufkin; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Pallbearers will be Joseph Dunn, J.L. “Bryan” Dunn, Jon Dunn, Jared Dunn, Zac Devaney, and Jonathan Dunn.
The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. Sunday afternoon prior to the services.
