Robert L. "Bob" Denum, Jr.

Graveside services for Robert L. “Bob” Denum, Jr., 97, of Lufkin will be held Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at 12:00 Noon at the Elwyn M. Gipson Memorial Chapel in the Garden of Memories Memorial Park with Pastor Ford Adkins officiating.

Mr. Denum was born May 4, 1924 in Lufkin to the late Mary (Gibson) and Robert Lee Denum, Sr., and died Sunday, December 5, 2021 in a local hospice facility.

Mr. Denum was a lifelong resident of Lufkin. He owned and operated Denum Moving & Storage and Denum Piano Company. He served his country in the United States Army Air Corps. Mr. Denum was a member of the Rotary Club and First Christian Church.

Survivors include his son, Robert Denum III and wife Pam of Lufkin; grandson, Robert “Lee” Denum IV of Lufkin; and numerous other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Azelle Denum; and great-grandson, Robert Kyle Denum.
