Robert "Bob" O'Neal

Funeral services for Robert “Bob” O’Neal, 76, of Zavalla will be held Friday, December 22, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel in Huntington with Brother Larry Innerarity officiating. Interment will follow in the Zavalla Cemetery.

Mr. O’Neal was born June 2, 1941 in Indianola, Iowa to the late Mary Martha (Campbell) and Leonard O’Neal, and died Monday, December 18, 2017 in Houston.

Mr. O’Neal was the Produce Manager for Albertson’s and Tom Thumb and he owned and operated Bobcat’s Restaurant in Zavalla. He loved his family and was always joking and laughing. He enjoyed woodworking. He attended Sulphur Springs Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Kathy O’Neal of Zavalla; sons, Doug O’Neal of Dallas and Wren O’Neal and wife Lyndsey of Prosper; daughters, Shannon Willmon of Dallas and Gina Smith and husband Jim of Huntington; stepsons, Grant Webley and wife Jamie of Houston and Jason Clements and wife Charla of Oklahoma; 15 grandchildren; brothers, Ron O’Neal and wife Stephanie of South Carolina and Brad O’Neal of Iowa; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Cathy O’Neal; and sister, Debbie O’Neal.

Pallbearers will be Jim Smith, Robert Wallace, Carlos Guzman, Gary Dalton, Julius Grimes, and Jason Clements.

Honorary pallbearers will be Robert Wallace and Grant Webley.
