Memorial services for Bobby Ray Allison, 84, of Pollok will be held Friday, May 17, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Keltys United Methodist Church with Reverend Cindy Doran officiating. Inurnment will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Carroway Funeral Home.
Mr. Allison was born December 9, 1934 in Angelina County, Texas to the late Gordie Gertrude (Anderson) and James Watts Allison, and died Monday, May 13, 2019 at his residence.
Mr. Allison was a Plumber and retired from Williford Plumbing after 41 years of service. He was a member of Clawson Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Laura Allison of Pollok; son, Danny Allison and wife Pam of New Braunfels; daughters, Laura Broughton and husband Scott of Lufkin and Rhaeanne Madden and husband Jerry of Pollok; grandchildren, Brandon Broughton and wife Cat, Allison Hemphill and husband Brian, Brittny Martin and husband Josh, Casidy Murray and Jeff Pace, and Jayme Clark and husband Jared; great-grandchildren, Kennedy Martin, Neely Martin, Knox Martin, Colt Pace, Kain Broughton, Hayes Hemphill, Laken Hemphill, and Luke Clark; brother, Jimmy Allison and wife Sadie; sister, Betty Doris Landry; brother-in-law, Elbert Dunn; sister-in-law, Peggy Williford; special friends, Cody and Dawn Sewell, Clayton Richardson, and Wyman Morton; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Lois Standley and Velda Dunn; and brother-in-law, Lester “Bo” Williford.
