Robbie Loving Driver

Funeral services for Robbie Loving Driver, 83, of Corrigan will be held Friday, December 28, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Charlie Hodge officiating. Interment will follow in the Whitehouse Cemetery.

Mrs. Driver was born October 20, 1935 in the Moffett Community of Angelina County, Texas to the late Grace (Wilkerson) and Forest Brevell, and passed away Monday, December 24, 2018 in Corrigan.

Mrs. Driver graduated from Redland High School in 1954. She graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University in 1957 with a BS in Home Economics. Mrs. Driver taught Home Economics and Special Ed for more than 40 years at various schools in East Texas. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Corrigan Lodge #936 for over 50 years, and was a past Worthy-Matron. Mrs. Driver was a member of First Baptist Church of Corrigan.

Survivors include her sons, Daryl Loving and wife Carolyn of Spring and Roger Loving and wife Lisa of Bossier City, Louisiana; stepson, Tyson Driver and wife Tonya of Huntington; grandchildren, Jennifer Akin and husband Brian of Walnut Creek, California, Kymberly Oney and husband Doug of Spring, Hunter Driver and Case Driver, both of Huntington; great-grandchildren; Brynn Oney and Blakely Akin; brother, David Brevell and wife Vicki of Round Rock; and a number of other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, George A. Loving, who she married June 14, 1957; and second husband, Garvis Mac Driver, who she married June 4, 1983.

The family extends special thanks to Hospice in the Pines, Home and Healthcare, and Corrigan LTC Nursing and Rehab Facility for the special care that was given.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday evening at the funeral home.
