Funeral services for Ricky DeWayne Gill, 58, of Lufkin will be held Friday, December 20, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Gary Rowe officiating. Cremation arrangements will be under the direction of Carroway Funeral Home.
Ricky was born July 26, 1966 in San Augustine, Texas to the late Freddie Jean (Falcon) and Alvis Wayne Gill, and died Saturday, December 14, 2024 at his residence. Ricky was a forklift driver for Tyson Foods.
Survivors include his wife Annette Gill of Lufkin; daughters and sons-in-law, Marilyn Gill and Sylvester Moore, Heather and Dale Lewis, Kimberly Gill, Doris Gill; grandchildren, A’Quira Gregory, Kalia Gregory, Lilee Davis, Saraia Moore, Tru’ Legenn Moore, Amber Martin, Sebastian “Alex” Harvey, Jayden Harvey, Aidan Franks; sister and brother-in-law, Sherry and Jimmy Bennefield; brothers-in-law and sister-in-law, Ricky and Barbara Hight, Robert Hight; nephews, James Falcon, Charlie Falcon, John Hight and wife Amber, Brandon Green and wife Marina; niece, Chloe Hight; aunt, Betty Poindexter; uncle, Richard Gill; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Jimmy Falcon; sister, Vicky Jean Falcon; son-in-law, Jason Harvey; niece, Courtney Jasmine Hight; in-laws, Curg Anson and Maxine Hight; uncles, Kenneth Lavon, Billy Wayne Poindexter; aunt, Lizzy Poindexter; and paternal and maternal grandparents.
