Richard Wayne Weeks I

December 19, 1950 — December 16, 2025

Alba, formerly of Diboll, TX

Memorial services for Richard Wayne Weeks I, 74, of Alba, formerly of Diboll, will be held Saturday, December 20, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Joe Sawyer officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Carroway Funeral Home.

Mr. Weeks was born December 19, 1950 in Lufkin, Texas to the late Dorothy Nell (McAdams) and Raymond Wilton Weeks, and passed away Tuesday, December 16, 2025, surrounded by loved ones.

Richard was a devoted husband, father, family man, and friend. He spent his life working hard and providing for his family through his years at Lufkin Armature, Al Meyer Ford, and most recently Triad Electric. He was known for his strength, kindness, and unwavering love for those closest to him. An avid fisherman and hunter, he found peace in the outdoors and joy in sharing stories and laughter as a natural jokester—not to mention his infamous fart pranks on all his grandchildren, which will forever bring smiles and laughter to their memories. He never met a stranger and could strike up a conversation with anyone. He also loved settling in to watch his old John Wayne westerns. He accepted Jesus into his heart, and we take comfort knowing he is now at peace, healed, and cancer free. He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and resilience that will live on through his family.
