Richard "Jody" Crosby

Richard “Jody” Crosby, 63, of Lufkin died Tuesday, June 28, 2022 in Winnie. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Carroway Funeral Home. Memorial services will be held at a later date.

Mr. Crosby was born April 11, 1959 in Ocala, Florida to the late Zanna (Folks) and James Crosby. He grew up rodeoing and cowboying all across Florida. He had resided in Lufkin for 15 years and was a heavy equipment operator for Dry Creek Construction.

Survivors include his sons, Joel Crosby of Rising Star and True Story III of Florida; daughter and son-in-law, Talline and Matt Curtis of Texas; and grandson, True Story IV of Florida.

He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Barbara Crosby.
