A Celebration of Life for Richard Conley Camp, 61, of Lufkin will be held Thursday, November 29, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Parkview Baptist Church. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Carroway Funeral Home.
Mr. Camp was born August 7, 1957 in Kingsport, Tennessee to the late Lois (Oliver) and Lloyd Camp and went home to be with his Lord, Sunday, November 25, 2018.
Mr. Camp was a resident of Lufkin most of his life. He enjoyed sports, especially baseball, and was a big Houston Astros fan. He was a music lover who particularly liked classic rock. His greatest joys were the girls in his life, his wife and daughters, as well as all of his family. He was a member of Parkview Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Gerry Camp of Lufkin; daughters, Tia Camp and Amber Camp, both of Lufkin; sisters, Geri King of Lufkin and Cathy Grimes of Nacogdoches; sister-in-law, Ginny Hines of Coushatta, Louisiana; brother-in-law, Gene Hines of Carrollton; mother-in-law, Jeanette Hines of Coushatta, Louisiana; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; twin brother, Tim Camp; sister, Janell Tolbert; and his wife’s parents.
