Funeral services for Rhonda Lowe, 63, of Lufkin will be held Thursday, May 29, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Gordon Young officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Carroway Funeral Home.

Ms. Lowe was born October 23, 1961 in Orange, Texas, and passed away Monday, May 26, 2025 in a Houston hospital.

Ms. Lowe lived her life to the fullest. Family was everything to her. She liked to fish and embroidery and enjoyed gardening and listening to worship music. She was a member of the Daughters of the Republic of Texas. Ms. Lowe loved God and was a Christian.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Raven and Dustin Hodney of Etoile; grandchildren, D.J., Kaleb, Carter, and Darren; mother, Garvis (Wagstaff) Powell; sisters and brother-in-law, Terea Lowe and Belinda and Tim Warren, all of Etoile; brother, Sonny Lowe of Etoile; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her father, Leslie “L.D.” Lowe; nephews, Christopher Warren and Justin Warren; and brother-in-law, Red Fore.

Honorary pallbearers will be Dustin Hodney, Brandon Clowers, and Michael Lowe.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Thursday afternoon prior to the services.
