Rene Santos Ramos

Visitation for Rene Santos Ramos, 59, of Lufkin will be held Saturday, April 14, 2018 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel. Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at a later date in the Philippines.

Mr. Ramos was born March 25, 1959 in Villasis, Pangasinan, Philippines to Purificacion Santos and the late Epafrodito Torres Ramos, and died Tuesday, April 10, 2018 in a hospital in Nacogdoches.

Mr. Ramos was a business owner. He was a jack of all trades and loved to fix things. He enjoyed cooking and playing tennis. Mr. Ramos was a member of St. Andrew Catholic Church.

Survivors include his wife, Fema Ramos of Lufkin; daughters, Cherryl Kim and husband Inho of the Philippines, Charrie Acosta and husband Fernan and Bethafe Reyna and husband David, all of Lufkin, and Christelle Spikes and husband Tyler of Bossier City, Louisiana; grandsons, Levi Andrew Spikes of Bossier City, Louisiana and Yoo Ahn Kim of the Philippines; mother, Purificacion Ramos; siblings and their spouses, Romeo Ramos and wife Evelyn, Dr. Norma Aguilar and husband Virgil, Ruben Ramos and wife Yolanda, Rolly Ramos and wife Lani, and E. John Ramos and wife Fe; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his father.
