Regina Marion McMurray

Regina Marion McMurray, 73, of Lufkin, Texas, passed away peacefully at her residence Monday, October 13, 2025. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Carroway Funeral Home.

Regina was born July 11, 1952, in Hopkinsville, Kentucky to the late Martha (Avert) and Billy Marion Rager. She had lived in Lufkin for the past 23 years.

Regina enjoyed the simple pleasures of life—she loved working on puzzles and had a special talent for cross-stitching, creating many beautiful pieces over the years. She will be remembered for her kindness, creativity, and gentle spirit.

She is survived by her husband, Tony McMurray of Lufkin; son, Billy Tapp of Lufkin; brother, Harold Rager of Elton, Kentucky; and sister, Dixie Brooks of Newburgh, Indiana.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Billy and Martha Rager.
