Rebecca Ann "Becky" Womack

Funeral Service for Rebecca Ann “Becky” Womack, 73, of Hudson will be held Monday, December 8, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Christian Womack officiating. Interment will follow at the Narrow Way Cemetery. Becky was born February 26, 1952, in Lufkin, Texas to the late Dorothy “Bell” and Samuel Lovejoy, and died Thursday, December 4, 2025, in the comfort of her own home

Becky was a Hudson High School graduate. On August 21, 1971, she married the love of her life, Ronnie Womack. They welcomed their one and only son, Kris, in 1975, who they both loved and cherished. Becky worked 32 years for the Texas State Comptroller’s Office in Lufkin. She and Ronnie enjoyed traveling together where they loved collecting antiques. Becky also loved traveling with her best friends. Becky was a stylish woman who loved to dress in fine clothing and had an eye for dressing it up with fine jewelry. When she stepped out of her house, she was dressed and ready for whatever the occasion was. Becky adored her granddaughters, and her two great-granddaughters. They could always put a smile on her face and she loved every minute she got to spend with them. She touched the hearts of everyone that came in contact with her. Becky was a warrior of a woman. She spent her entire life dealing with countless medical battles and through it all, she continued to be hopeful, faithful and was the strongest woman we knew. Becky and Ron were members of Providence Baptist Church.

Survivors include their son, Charles “Kris” Womack of Lufkin; granddaughter and spouse, Holland and Michael Clemens of Lufkin; granddaughters, Ireland Womack and Grace Womack, both of Lufkin; great-granddaughters, Tatum and Sutton Clemens, both of Lufkin; brother, Jessie Lovejoy of Hudson; sister, Clasina Watson of Lufkin; sisters-in-law, Stacey Womack and Mary Jean Lovejoy of Lufkin; nieces and nephews, Kristie Watson, Dean “Bubba” Watson, Josh Womack, Cassie Womack, and David Womack, all of Lufkin; and other several dearly loved relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ronnie Womack; brothers, Samuel Lovejoy, John Lovejoy and Alton Lovejoy; and her fur baby, Halo.

Pallbearers include Bubba Watson, Michael Clemens, Josh Womack, David Womack, Kaden Womack, Liam Womack, Tyler Beaty, and Trevor Beaty. Honorary pallbearers include Gay Whitworth, Oretha Chamblee, Ruby Goodwin Hemingway, Sandy Penn, Loretta Denton, and the late Mary Temple Henderson.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones Sunday evening December 7, 2025, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Carroway Funeral Home.
