Raymond Fore

Raymond Fore, 73, of Lufkin died Monday, July 17, 2017 in a local hospital. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Carroway Funeral Home.

Mr. Fore was born May 26, 1944 in Honolulu, Hawaii to Eleanor (Nelson) and Willard Black Fore. Mr. Fore was an avid outdoorsman and a lifetime runner. He volunteered at Ratcliff Lake and the Davy Crockett National Forest.

Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Deidra (Lester) Fore of Lufkin; son and daughter-in-law, Dustin and Bonnie Fore of Lufkin; granddaughters, Chloe Fore and Cassie Fore, both of Lufkin; mother, Eleanor Fore of Crockett; sister and brother-in-law, Nona and Don Tullos of Lovelady; and brother, Robert Fore of Crockett.

He was preceded in death by his father, Willard Fore; brothers, John Fore and Wayne Fore; and sister, Lorraine Conner.
