Ray Pee

April 23, 1962 — May 20, 2024

Jesus said “I have told you these things, so that in me you have peace.

In this world you will have trouble but take heart! I have overcome the world.”

John 16:33

Claude Ray Pee, Jr. was born in Cuero, Texas April 23, 1962 to Claude Ray Pee, Sr. and Alyce Marie Sparks, a free spirit from day one. He died May 20, 2024 in Pollok, Texas.

Ray (Claude) loved people and people loved him. He knew people from Maine to California and everywhere in between. As a young man he loved to run track and play football. He was a rising star in his own right. Ray loved to ride his Harley with his hair blowing in the wind. He loved to fish and hunt. He could spot a deer in a tree line 400 yards away when everyone else was swearing there was no deer to be seen. If he saw someone stranded on the side of the road he would stop and help anyway he could. He was a character, always putting his brothers and sisters up to all kinds of shenanigans.

Ray is survived by his mom, Alyce Sparks; children, Ashley Barajas of Lufkin Texas, Micheal Wilkins of Tampa, Florida, Jerod Pee of Pollok, Texas, Jessy Pee of Pollok, Texas, Zackery Mettlen of Wells, Texas, and Clayton Pee of Huntington, Texas; brothers and sisters, Diane and Ronnie Bain of Ethel, Mississippi, Damon Pee-Fowler of Harrison Township, Michigan, Shelly and Stephan Spence of Bossier City, Louisiana, Richard and De’Reigh Steen of Huntington, Texas, Gary and Ellen Pee of Pollok, Texas, and Tina Pee of Pollok, Texas; plus numerous grandchildren, great- grandchildren, nephews and nieces.

Ray was preceded in death by his dad, Claude Pee, Sr.; and sisters, Cora Dean Mayo and Claudie Jo Hamel.
