Paula Kay Glaze

Graveside services for Paula Kay Glaze, 74, of Pollok will be held Sunday, January 30, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. in the Simpson Cemetery with Brother Richard Owen officiating.

Mrs. Glaze was born November 17, 1947 in Lindale, Texas to the late Wilma Faye (Lee) and Vestel McGahey, and died Thursday, January 27, 2022 in Pollok.

Mrs. Glaze worked as a phone operator for Texas Workforce Solutions. She loved her family more than anything. She enjoyed crocheting and knitting, and other pastimes included doing word searches, puzzles, and adult coloring books. She also enjoyed reading and writing.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, John and Tina Glaze of Pollok; grandson, Jon Glaze of Pollok; granddaughter, Kaitlin Kennedy and husband Jerrod of Lufkin; great-granddaughter, Monroe Kennedy of Lufkin; stepson, Marshall Glaze; grandson, Charles Glaze; brother, George; sister, Annette; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Johnnie Glaze.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jerrod Kennedy, Robert Glaze, Jon Glaze, Matt Smith, Ray Glaze, and Lester Glaze.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Saturday evening at Carroway Funeral Home.
