Patsy A. Irvin Skillern Shaw

Funeral services for Patsy A. Irvin Skillern Shaw, 77, of Lufkin will be held Tuesday, April 23, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. at Eastview Pentecostal Church with Rev. Justin Bullard, Rev. Kelly Havard, and Rev. David Hunt officiating. Interment will follow in the Simpson Campground Cemetery in Woden, Texas.

Mrs. Shaw was born August 16, 1946 in Orange, Texas to the late Ollie Day (Ashmore) and Joseph Clarence Irvin, and died Thursday, April 18, 2024 in a local hospital.

Patsy was a faithful member of Eastview Pentecostal Church for more than 25 years. She was the former Mission’s Director and also worked many years in the Bus Ministry.

Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Jerry L. Shaw; daughters and sons-in-law, Kimberly and Rev. Jonathan Knott, Julie and Todd Shahan; granddaughters and spouses, Lauren and Nicholas Hefner, Madison and Kane Moore, Alyssa Knott; grandsons, Mason Shahan, Andrew Knott and wife Rachel; niece, Sherry Hopson; along with other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her birth parents, Ollie and Joseph Irvin; and her parents, Kenneth and Willie Skillern.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Monday evening at Eastview Pentecostal Church and from 10:00 to 10:30 a.m. Tuesday morning prior to the services.
