Patsy Ann Hopper

Graveside services for Patsy Ann Hopper, 80, of Lufkin will be held Saturday, August 31, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at Pollok Cemetery with Brother Keith Bickley officiating.

Mrs. Hopper was born March 24, 1944 in Lufkin, Texas to the late Mildred “Pat” (Haney) and R.D. Free, and died Wednesday, August 28, 2024 at her residence. She resided in Lufkin most of her life and retired as Manager of the Credit Bureau of Lufkin following 50 years of employment. She was a loving mother and grandmother and was a devoted Christian. Mrs. Hopper was a member of Pollok Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Dennis Hopper of Lufkin; sons and daughters-in-law, Chris and Kathy Hopper of Huntsville, and Jaime and Jennifer Hopper of Huntington; grandchildren and spouses, Jacob and Katie Hopper, Hunter Hopper, Carson Hopper, Aiden and Mackenzie Hopper, and Reese Hopper; great-grandchildren, Keegan, Kennedy and Kollins Hopper; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Jean Free.

Pallbearers will be her sons and grandsons.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Pollok Baptist Church, P.O. Box 85, Pollok, Texas 75969.
