Patricia Corine Koch

Graveside services for Patricia Corine Koch, 96, of Diboll will be held Sunday, April 6, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. in the Norwood Cemetery in Hearne, Texas with Brother Roy Hall officiating.

Mrs. Koch was born December 8, 1928 in Silsbee, Texas to the late Beulah Ann (Hatton) and Patrick Claudius Nowlin, and died Wednesday, April 2, 2025 in a local nursing home.

Patricia married the love of her life, Leon Garfield Tonn on her 18th birthday. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and absolutely adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She worked as the Head Cashier at Brookshire Brothers in Hearne prior to moving to Diboll in 2012. She loved flowers and enjoyed shopping. Patricia was an active member in First Baptist Church Hearne, and later became a member of Harmony Hill Baptist Church in Lufkin.

Survivors include her daughters, Julie Hall and husband Roy of Diboll, Christy Westbrook of Pollok; grandchildren, Alissa Pyeatt and husband Jeremy, Brian Boothe and wife Teva, Jessica Sanders and husband Blake, Andrew Hall and wife Traci, Jeremy Westbrook and wife Rachel, Josh Westbrook, Brittany Feeney; 14 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Leon Garfield Tonn and Albert N. Koch; son-in-law, Dana Westbrook; and her three brothers and sisters-in-law.

Honorary pallbearers will be her grandsons.

Although Patricia loved flowers, the family requests in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 Saint Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105 or Harmony Hill Baptist Church Children’s Building Fund, 2708 S. Chestnut Street, Lufkin, Texas 75901.

The family would like to express sincere thanks to the staff at Castle Pines and to Dr. Roby for the loving care given to Mrs. Koch.
