Funeral services for Pamela Neal, 82, of Sour Lake, Texas will be held Tuesday, July 29, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Cary Modisett, Brother Darryl Bennett, Brother Ron Fant, and Dr. Carlton Lewis officiating. Interment will follow in the Fielder Memorial Cemetery.
Mrs. Neal was born October 5, 1942 in Henderson, Texas to the late Bobbie (Ray) and Wayne Spiggle, and died Thursday, July 24, 2025 in Vidor, Texas.
Mrs. Neal had resided in Huntington most of her life. She had a passion for teaching and taught at Zavalla ISD, Huntington ISD, and Colmesneil. She served as Principal at Angelina Christian School prior to teaching at Lufkin ISD, from which she retired after a total of 35 years of service. She was a devoted and loving wife and enjoyed helping her husband with their car business. Pamela absolutely adored her grandchildren and her time spent with them. She was a lifelong member of Shawnee Church of Jesus Christ.
Survivors include her son, Mike Neal and wife Criss of Huntington; grandson, Jonathon Neal and wife Carissa of Sour Lake; granddaughters, Mikaela Neal of Houston, Callie Neal of Huntington, Taylor Cartwright and husband Jacob of Huntington; grandsons, Lane Williams and wife Cessali of Zavalla, Jason Williams and Micah of Huntington; great-grandchildren, Haegen Neal, Huxton Neal, Baby Neal, Gabriel Cartwright, Colt Cartwright, Wyatt Cartwright, Oliver Williams, Henry Williams; sister-in-law, Ruby Burnett; brother-in-law, Doc Sullivan; her faithful companion, Charlie, her Dachshund; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Ray Neal.
Pallbearers will be Chase Capps, Michael Henson, David Holland, Jr., Charles Robertson, Jason Williams, and Lane Williams.
Honorary pallbearers will be Uriah Abens, Ray Modisett, Terry Witt, Mike Pelton, and the men of Shawnee Church of Jesus Christ.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Shawnee Church of Jesus Christ, Scholarship Fund, P.O. Box 253, Huntington, Texas 75949
The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday evening at the funeral home.
