Memorial services for Pamela Renea Bynum, 52, of Lufkin will be held Thursday, March 1, 2018 at 4:00 p.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Clark Bynum and Pastor Joe Stanley officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Carroway Funeral Home.
Mrs. Bynum was born February 13, 1966 in Lufkin, Texas, and died Saturday, February 24, 2018 in a local hospice facility. She resided in Lufkin most of her life. She was a 1984 graduate of Lufkin High School, and had worked for Texas Department of Corrections. Mrs. Bynum enjoyed fishing and taking care of her dogs Boudreaux, Tippy, Sister, and Biscuit. She also enjoyed gardening. She was of the Pentecostal faith.
Survivors include her husband, William R. “Ronnie” Bynum, Jr. of Lufkin; father and stepmother, James and Annie Yates of Lufkin; mother and stepfather, Georgia Marie (Schmidt) and Charles Ashton of Lufkin; sons, Travis Eli Peters, Colin Michael Peters, and Jacob William Peters, all of Cayuga; stepchildren and spouses, James Michael and Amanda Bynum, Jerry Ray and Mika Bynum, Paul William and Lisa Bynum, Jamye G. Bynum, Trevor Ace Bynum, Jacob Logan Bynum, all of Lufkin, and Megan Tarie Bynum of Huntington; numerous grandchildren; brother, James “Bo” Yates, Jr. of Lufkin; stepbrothers, Jerry “Bubba” Havard of Lufkin, Steven Havard of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Charles Woodrow Ashton, Jr. of Granbury; grandmother, Hazel Sepulva of Lufkin; parents-in-law, Linda and William R. Bynum, Sr. of Lufkin; and a number of other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, James D. Yates, Doyle C. Nerren, and Velma Florine Peoples Yates Nerren.
