Numan L. "Bubba" Gray

Funeral services for Numan L. “Bubba” Gray, 57, of Lufkin will be held Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Pat Jones officiating. Interment will follow in the Fielder Memorial Cemetery.

Mr. Gray was born August 29, 1961 in Lufkin, Texas to the late Betty Jo (Crawford) and George Lee Gray, and died Thursday, May 23, 2019 at his residence.

Mr. Gray was a lifelong resident of Lufkin and was an auto body repairman from the time he started working. He never met a stranger and had a special love for his dogs. He was an avid gardener and his garden was full of flowers. He enjoyed fishing and watching sports, especially football and basketball.

Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Courtney and Kody Maikranz of Tennessee; son, Chance Gray of Lufkin; sisters and brothers-in-law, Katie and Don Parrish of Lufkin, Georgia and Travis Latham of Pollok; aunt, Bobbie Cook of Diboll; niece, Allison Oliver of Lufkin; and numerous other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Pallbearers will be Stewart Flurry, Gary Browning, Colin Parrish, Paul Hope, Reginald Flurry, and Darrel Grimes.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday evening at the funeral home.
