Funeral services for Norma Jane Due, 89, of Hudson will be held Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Jim McDonald and Kyle Campbell officiating. Interment will follow in the Calvary Cemetery in Trinity County.
Ms. Due was born March 26, 1929 in Trinity County, Texas to the late Lucy Jane (Parker) and Emmett Patton Due, and died Saturday, November 17, 2018 at her residence.
Formerly of Trinity County, Ms. Due had resided in Hudson since 2011. She retired from the Woodland Heights Medical Center Cafeteria following more than 20 years of employment. Ms. Due and her sister, Elna Pauline, were inseparable and always together, even sharing a home together their entire lives. She was a member of Loop 287 Church of Christ.
Survivors include her sister, Glynn Davis of Hudson; nephews and their spouses, Neal Ray Due of Possum Walk, Roger and Denise Davis of Hudson, Myron and Dee Due of Possum Walk; nieces and their spouses, Treina Martin of Tennessee, Karen and James Lawrence of Hudson, Celia and Margarito Gonzalez of Possum Walk; and numerous other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Elna Pauline Due; brother and sister-in-law, Grady and Melba Due; brother-in-law, James Ray Davis; niece, Sheila Pyle; nephew, Jerry Martin; special aunt, Callie Davis.
Pallbearers will be Jimmy Lawrence, Brad Lawrence, Ryan Lawrence, Roger Davis, Caleb Lawrence, and James Lawrence.
Honorary pallbearers will be Monte Lawrence, Drew Davis, Neal Ray Due, Margarito Gonzalez, Myron Due, and Jay Davis.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Calvary Cemetery Association, c/o Betty Wright, 1110 Spur 357, Kennard, Texas 75847.
The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday evening at the funeral home.
