Narlee Laverne Shepherd Reppond

Funeral services for Narlee Laverne Shepherd Reppond, 92, of Huntington will be held Sunday, November 17, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. at New Life United Pentecostal Church with Brother Steven Sanders, Brother Marlow Shubert, and her grandson, Brother David Holland, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in Huntington Cemetery.

Narlee Laverne Shepherd Reppond was born October 25, 1932 in Broaddus, Texas to the late Lurina (Coulter) and Claude Lee Shepherd. On Wednesday morning, November 13, 2024, Narlee moved to her Heavenly home.

She resided in Huntington most of her life and worked for Howard’s and Walmart for a combined 30 plus years. Narlee was a Godly woman who was known as “Mawmaw” and “Sunshine” by many. She loved the Lord and her family and set an example for her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren that will lead them all their lives. A woman of deep faith, Narlee had a deep relationship with the Lord and loved with all of her heart and soul. She found great joy in God’s Word and worshipping with her loving church family each Sunday. She was a powerful prayer warrior, and she carried a joy and light into every room she walked into. She left a wonderful and eternal impact during all her many years of faithful praying for her community and friends.

Survivors include her daughter, Linda Holland; son-in-law, David Holland, Sr.; daughter-in-law, Vivian Wright; grandchildren and spouses, David, Jr. and Stephanie Holland, Jeremiah and Stephanie Holland, Justin and Olivia Holland, Sue Holland, Tommy Lynn Reppond, Jr., Michael Reppond, Harvey Reynolds, Lurina Cobb, and Steven and Brenda Reynolds; nine great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sons, Tommy Lynn Reppond, Sr. and Thomas W. Reppond, Jr.; daughter, Judy Reynolds; and grandson, Dewayne Reynolds.

Pallbearers will be Michael Reppond, Justin Holland, Jacob Smith, Joseph Pope, Dakota Cummings, and Kaleb Cummings.

Honorary pallbearers will be Harvey Reynolds, Jeremiah Holland, Kolton Pope, Tommy Lynn Reppond, Jr., Steven Reynolds, David Holland, Jr., and the men of her church, New Life United Pentecostal Church.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. Sunday afternoon prior to the services.
