Graveside services for Nancy Mae Wagstaff Phillips, 74, of Huntington will be held Saturday, November 25, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. in the Hebron Cemetery near Broaddus with Brother Kent Childers officiating.

Mrs. Phillips was born May 4, 1949 in Broaddus, Texas to the late Vina (Dailey) and Cecil Wagstaff, and passed Saturday, November 18, 2023 in a Lufkin hospital.

Nancy resided in Lufkin most of her life. She retired as an Inspector for Lufkin Industries, where she worked for 20 years. Some of her favorite pastimes were gardening and cooking. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and her little dogs, Midnight and Jazzy. Nancy was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include her daughter, Debora Silva of Huntington; son, Wendell Royce Ayers and wife Heidi of Huntington; daughter, Scharlene Ayers and husband Carlos Ontiveros of Ruidoso, New Mexico; stepdaughter, Wendy Phillips and husband Jeff Howell of Huntington; stepsons, Paul Phillips and wife Patricia of Kirbyville, Sheldon Phillips of Navasota; grandchildren and spouses, Kimberly Mitchell, Jeremy Ayers, Samantha Sanchez, Sarah and Jeff Arnold, Richard and Brittany Ayers; step-grandchildren, Katlyn Kelton, Kyle Phillips; great-great-grandchildren, Adalynn Lewis, Mason Arnold, Blake Ayers, Mason Ayers, Ellie Ayers; step-great-great-grandchild, Noah Phillips; sisters, Syble Williams of Lufkin, Betty Sue Parker of Apple Springs; brother, Jay Wagstaff of Jewett; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Wendell Ayers; second husband, Glendon Phillips; sisters, Malene Hickman, Frances Williams, Patsy Ruth West, Linda Long; brothers, Ray Wagstaff, G.C. Wagstaff, Eldon Wagstaff, Herman Wagstaff, Weldon Wagstaff; and step-grandson, Little Paul Scruggs.

Pallbearers will be Royce Ayers, Richard Ayers, Andrew Pigg, Paul Phillips, Glen Wagstaff, and Carlos Ontiveros.

Honorary pallbearer will be Tyler Horning.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday evening at Carroway Funeral Home in Huntington.
