Nancy Murray Harvey

Funeral services for Nancy Murray Harvey, 89, of Lufkin will be held Wednesday, April 29, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at Heritage Baptist Church with Pastor Jim Housley officiating. Interment will follow at Garden of Memories Memorial Park.

Mrs. Harvey was born April 13, 1937 in San Augustine, Texas to the late Ruby Susan (Parker) and Charlie Elbert Murray, and died Saturday, April 25, 2026 in a local hospital. She was a barber for 30 years. Mrs. Harvey was a member of Heritage Baptist Church.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Cindi and Arnold Clary; son and daughter-in-law, John and Kathy Harvey; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters-in-law, E.K. and Carolee Murray, and Charles and Debi Murray; sister and brother-in-law, Billie Sue and Paul Ray Phillips; and a number of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Louie Harvey, son, Weldon Harvey; and granddaughter, Jennifer Harvey.

Pallbearers will be Ray Clary, Audy Clary, John M. Harvey, Brooks Harvey, and Brock Harvey.

Honorary pallbearers will be Cason Clary and Chase Harvey.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m. Wednesday afternoon prior to the services.
