Graveside services for Milton Ray Miller, Sr., 87, of Gary, Texas will be held Tuesday, January 9, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. in the Garden of Memories Memorial Park with Reverend Jared Brown officiating.
Mr. Miller was born November 30, 1936 to George and Vera (Toombs) Miller in Kirbyville, Texas, and passed away Saturday, January 6, 2024.
He was a loving father, father-in-law, grandfather, great-grandfather, and great-great-grandfather. He was the greatest gift to his family. His personality and big heart will never be matched. Mr. Miller was a compassionate and courageous man. He valued your respect and earned the admiration of those who knew him.
Mr. Miller worked in the oilfield business all his life. He enjoyed gardening and had just taken up beekeeping.
Survivors include his children and spouses, Cathie and John Repp of Lufkin, Ellen Shelton of Nacogdoches, Debra and Ronnie Smith of Gary, Milton Ray, Jr. and Moe Miller of Eunice, Louisiana, Loraine Jodi Miller of Carthage, and Robert and Theresa Miller of Gilmer; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; and best friends, Bubba Chambers and Becky Smith.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Joy Dell Miller; grandsons, Brandon Ray Shiflet and Cody Hill Miller; great-great-grandson, Jameson Walker; and sons-in-law, Roger Dupuy and Jimmy Morton.
