Millie Turner

Graveside services for Millie Turner, 70, of Huntington will be held Friday, January 26, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. in the Jonesville Cemetery with Brother Horace Fletcher officiating.

Ms. Turner was born September 1, 1947 in Lufkin, Texas to the late May (Havard) and Luther Day, and died Monday, January 22, 2018 in a local hospital.

Ms. Turner had resided in Huntington most of her life. She loved music and was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include her sons, Vincent Kervin and Steven Kervin, both of Minden, Louisiana; daughter, Kathrine Davis and husband Lane of Minden, Louisiana; sons, Rodney Turner and wife Brandi and Eric Turner, all of Huntington; grandchildren, Brandon Kervin, Jonathan Kervin, Jessica Kervin, Amanda Kervin, Gloria Hurst, Paul Hurst, Matthew Kervin, Kimberly Kervin, Bradley Turner, Lance Turner, Levi Kervin, and Sydney Turner; 14 great-grandchildren; brothers, Harold W. Day of Huntington, Herman Day of Diboll, and Raymond Day and wife Lula of Dickinson; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Robert Day, R.B. Day, Arlon Day, and Hubert Day; and sisters, Barbara Jean Griffith, Doris Neimann, and Joyce Kervin.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. Friday afternoon prior to the service at Carroway Funeral Home in Huntington.
