Michael Norman Zivich

Memorial services for Michael Norman Zivich, 76, of Lufkin will be held Saturday, September 23, 2023 at 4:00 p.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Walt Scalen officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Carroway Funeral Home.

Mr. Zivich was born June 4, 1947 in Gary, Indiana to the late Dolly (Trkula) and Sam Zivich, and died Wednesday, September 13, 2023 in a local hospice facility.

Mr. Zivich graduated from both San Bernadino Valley College and Angelina College. He was a member of Operating Engineers Local Union #12. Mr. Zivich worked with Habitat for Humanity and Youth Build for at risk youth. He attended Harmony Hill Baptist Church.

Survivors include his daughters, Michelle Brazeil and husband Thomas, and Kimberly Karn; grandsons, Nick Brazeil and Zack Karn; granddaughters, Chelsie Osborne, Samantha Neal, and Zoe Karn; great-grandchildren, Flynn, Remmington, Marley, Khaleesi, Cannon, and Bowen; girlfriend, Melva VanSchoubroek; best friend, Bobbi Allen; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Nicky Zivich.
