Michael Johnson

Graveside services for Michael Johnson, 27, of Lufkin will be held Monday, July 18, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. in the Sand Flat Cemetery with Pastor Jimmy Davis officiating.

Michael was born May 1, 1995 in Jacksonville, Texas, to Robin Michelle (Croft) and Michael Stacey Johnson, and died Monday, July 11, 2022 in a hospice facility.

Michael attended Oak Creek Center Workshop for over 15 years, and was a consumer at St. Giles Living Center where he was loved and cared for. Michael loved his country music, trucks, and cuddling up with his favorite security blankets. His favorite foods were SpaghettiOs and red Kool-Aid.

Left to cherish Michael are his foster parents, John and Debra Williams; foster brother, Joseph; his St. Giles Living Center family; grandmothers, Hazel Croft, Rose Johnson, both of Jacksonville; step-grandmother, Rita Peace of Jacksonville; mother, Robin Croft of Jacksonville; stepfather, Rex Stuck and wife Belinda of Tequila; half-brothers, Michael Johnson, Jr. of Ohio, Rex Stuck III of Jacksonville; half-sisters, Rita Stuck of Odessa, Fantasia Mesaros and husband Tim of Tyler; stepbrothers, James Wilkerson, Jexon Hicks, both of Tequila; Devan Page and wife Julie of Arp; aunts, Sue and Steve Daniels of Oakland, Barbie Johnson of Alto, Martha Rae Johnson of Rusk; uncle, Bobby Croft of Montalba; step-aunt, Eugena Stuck of Jacksonville; step-uncle, Ines and Courtney Ramos, Alonzo and Deborah Peace, all of Cheyenne, Oklahoma; and numerous cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father; and grandfathers, Archie L. Croft and Mike Johnson.
