Visitation for Micah R. Harkness, 44, of Lufkin will be held Tuesday, September 21, 2021 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., with services at 7:00 p.m., at Carroway Funeral Home. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Carroway Funeral Home.

Micah was born October 1, 1976 in Lufkin, Texas, and died Wednesday, September 8, 2021 in a local hospital. He was a lifetime resident and was a care provider with Pineywoods Home Health. Micah had a servant’s heart, always doing for others. He loved the Texas Rangers and Bon Jovi music, and loved making people laugh.

Survivors include his parents, Suzy (Byrd) and David Alan Harkness of Lufkin; grandmother, Doris Harkness of Lufkin; aunts and uncles, Paula and Randy Allen of Arlington, Patti and Craig Teafatiller, Penny Byrd, Jeff and Shelia Harkness, all of Lufkin; and numerous cousins, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Royce and Mona Byrd and James Harkness; and best friend, John David Sibley.
