Mason Allen West

Funeral services for Mason Allen West, 21, of Lufkin will be held Tuesday, November 21, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Kenith Jackson officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Carroway Funeral Home.

Mason was born November 8, 2002 in Lufkin, Texas to Kimberly Suzanne Drewett and Anthony Brent West, and died Tuesday, November 14, 2023 in a local hospital.

Mason was a loving son and brother. He was very loyal and protective of the people in his life. If you were fortunate enough to have him as a friend, you had a friend forever. His family and friends remember his love of basketball, fishing with his brothers, always winning at family domino games, and his infectious smile and laugh. Mason loved his family deeply and he will be dearly missed.

Survivors include his mother, Kimberly Drewett; siblings, Dakota, Hanna, Cheyenne, Grayson, Ava; uncles, Clay Grote, Shane West; grandmothers, Debra Powell and Barbara Grote; and numerous other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Anthony Brent West; and grandfather, Joe Allen Powell.

Honorary pallbearers will be Grayson, Dakota, Zander, Adam, Alex, and Omar.
