Mary Dale Laenger

Funeral services for Mary Dale Laenger, 77, of Lufkin will be held Wednesday, April 26, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jacob Fitzgerald officiating. Interment will be in the Keatchie Cemetery in Keatchie, Louisiana.

Mrs. Laenger was born August 19, 1945 in Shreveport, Louisiana to the late Frances (Boyd) and Francis Howard McCollough, Sr., and died Saturday, April 15, 2023 in a local hospital.

Mrs. Laenger had resided in Lufkin for 30 years and was employed with Walmart for 25 years. She was a member of Denman Avenue Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Allen Laenger of Lufkin; sons and daughter-in-law, Daniel Laenger of Lufkin and Aaron and Misty Laenger of Conroe; grandson, Isaiah Laenger; sister, Janet LeMay; and a number of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Howard McCollough.

Pallbearers will be Daniel Laenger, Aaron Laenger, Michael Clarady, and Douglas Compton.

Honorary pallbearer will be Isaiah Laenger.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
