Mary Kay Kelley

Funeral services for Mary Kay Kelley, 71, of Birmingham, Alabama will be held Monday, June 9, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel in Corrigan with Brother Phillip Corbett officiating. Interment will follow in the Stryker Cemetery.

Mrs. Kelley was born June 10, 1953 in Pasadena, Texas to A.V. Kelley and Virginia Stanfield, and died Sunday, May 25, 2025.

Mary Kay graduated from the University of Texas with her undergraduate degree in 1974 before attending The Birmingham School of Law in 1994. Her professional career spanned several years in Insurance Adjusting and as an Attorney in Birmingham.

In her leisure, Mary Kay enjoyed flower gardening and painting. She was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church, Birmingham, where she was active in the Adult Singles Sunday School, UMW Board, Flower Ministry, Finance Committee, Hospitality, Heart Connection, and UMW Martha Circle.

Survivors include her mother, Virginia Stanfield; her sister and two brothers; and various cousins, nieces, and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon Keller; her father, A.V. Kelley; her stepfather, B.B. Stanfield, Jr.; grandparents; and one aunt.
