Mary Earline (Stephens) Hearn

Graveside services for Mary Earline (Stephens) Hearn, 72, of Lindale will be held Saturday, June 27, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. in Largent Cemetery with Brother Trey Ainsworth officiating.

Mrs. Hearn was born June 6, 1954 in Lufkin, Texas to the late Mary Olive (Huggins) and Clifford Earl Stephens, and died Thursday, June 18, 2026 in Lindale, Texas.

Earline was a graduate of Hudson High School. She lived much of her life in the Tyler and Lufkin areas. She enjoyed the simple things, most of which included camping, hunting and just being outdoors. She loved a good auction and traveling to see historic landmarks throughout the US. She was a fabulous cook and wasn't too shy to tell you. She was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Melissa and Ty Danaher of Lindale; daughter, Heather Gilchrist; grandchildren and spouses, Kadie and Cody Sullivan of Bayfield, Colorado, Cody and McKenzie Danaher of Lindale, Texas; great-grandchild, Sydney Sullivan; brother and sister-in-law, Jimmy and Dolores Stephens; along with a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Beverly Biggs; and husbands, Robert Gilchrist, Jr. and Terry Hearn.

Pallbearers will be Ty Danaher, Brian Stephens, Wesley Stephens, and Brad Holcombe.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, Houston and SE Texas Chapter, 6055 South Loop E., Houston, Texas 77087.
