Mary Sue Eddins

Funeral services for Mary Sue Eddins, 81, of Lufkin will be held Sunday, March15, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Kyle Campbell officiating. Graveside service and interment will follow at 4:00 p.m. at Mount Herman Cemetery in Center with Jim McDonald officiating.

Mrs. Eddins was born September 6, 1944 in Center, Texas to the late Lutishia Belle (Campbell) and Lemuel Alexander Hatton, and died Thursday, March 12, 2026 in a local hospital. She had resided in Lufkin for 60 years. She worked in the poultry industry for 20 years with a range of responsibilities from office management to National Sales Manager. She then worked in the Accounting Department of East Texas Printing for 22 years. Mrs. Eddins loved gardening and having family get togethers. She was a member of Loop 287 Church of Christ.

Survivors include her husband, Ted Eddins of Lufkin; sons and daughters-in-law, Dan and Karen Eddins of Lufkin, Ted, Jr. and Loretta Eddins, and Mike and Nicole Eddins, all of Apple Springs; grandchildren and spouses, Ashley Eddins, Daniel and Lisa Eddins, John David and Ashley Eddins, Justin Steptoe, Abby and Tim Lenig, Tristin Eddins, Bradley Eddins, and Cason Eddins; eight great-grandchildren; sister, Diane Price of Logansport, Louisiana; brother and sister-in-law, Lynn and Linda Hatton of Rye; brother-in-law, L.D. Eddins of Center; nephews and spouses, Brett and Alana Hatton of Lufkin, and Mark and Susan Price of Logansport; and a number of other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents; nephew, Davey Price; niece, Kim Hatton; and brother-in-law, Teague Price.

Pallbearers will be Daniel Eddins, John David Eddins, Justin Steptoe, Tristin Eddins, Bradley Eddins, Cason Eddins, Tim Lenig, and Josh Davis.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Sunday afternoon prior to the services.
