Mary Alice Cox

Graveside services for Mary Alice Cox, 73, of Lufkin will be held Sunday, January 12, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. in the Old Union Cemetery with Pastor Brandon Brashear officiating.

Mrs. Cox was born December 2, 1951 in Houston, Texas to the late Lillie Mae (Broz) and George H. Skaines, and died Tuesday, January 7, 2025 in a local hospice facility.

Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Kenneth Cox; son, Kevin Cox; daughter, Kendra Cox-Hendricks and husband Bobby; grandchildren, Hannah Cox and Jeremy Cox.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Pallbearers will be Taylor Shedd, Justin Shedd, Bobby Hendricks, Wayne Jordan, Dylan McShan, and Logan Lindstrom.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Saturday evening at Carroway Funeral Home.
