Mary Sue Watson Brasuell

Graveside services for Mary Sue Watson Brasuell, 83, of Hudson will be held Saturday, December 17, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. at Largent Cemetery.

Mrs. Brasuell was born February 7, 1939 in Trinity County, Texas to the late Sarah (Parks) and William Henry Watson, and died Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at her residence.

Mrs. Brasuell graduated from Hudson High School and retired from Lufkin-Conroe Telephone Exchange following more than 25 years in Customer Service. She enjoyed tending her flower beds and loved to sing, singing in the church choir for some time. The majority of her life revolved around her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, whom she treasured above all else. Mrs. Brasuell was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include her husband, Coy Brasuell; son and daughter-in-law, Dennis Ray and Karen Brasuell; grandchildren and spouses, Jared Brasuell, April Brasuell and Justin Cartwright, Christy and Bob Hall, Cassidy and Joe Siracuse, and Abby Atkins; great-grandchildren, Colton Brasuell, Hunter Cartwright, Kenley Cohagen, Rebecca Brasuell, Case Cartwright, Owen Cartwright, Kason Hall, and Kooper Hall; brother, Jerry Mike Watson; sisters, Nelda Battenfield, Wilma Williams, Dorothy Childers, Debbie Reid, and Carolyn Spears; and a number of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her son, Mark Brasuell; and brothers, Pat Watson, Jo Ed Watson, and Bob Watson.

Pallbearers will be Timmy Battenfield, Justin Cartwright, Colton Brasuell, Matthew Bush, Phillip Glawson, and Greg Williams.
