Mary Lavone Badeaux

Mary Lavone Badeaux, 79, of Pollok died Thursday, October 12, 2023 in a local hospital. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Carroway Funeral Home.

Ms. Badeaux was born October 8, 1944 in Waskom, Texas to the late Florence Daisy (Jones) and William Henry Wright II. She formerly resided in Sarepta, Louisiana and had lived in Pollok for three years. She enjoyed working in her garden, loved her dogs, and was loved by a lot of friends. Ms. Badeaux was of the Methodist faith.

Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Karen and John Lazarine of Pollok and Debbie and Kevin Roach of Hudson; grandchildren and spouses, Derek and Nicki Lazarine; Brooke Lazarine, Blake Lazarine and fiancé Maisie Gonzalez, and Alexa Roach; great-grandchildren, Ryder Lazarine and Victoria Lazarine; sister, Virginia Lanette Shepherd of Hemphill, formerly of Sarepta, Louisiana; brother and sister-in-law, William “Bill” and Margaret Wright of Pineland; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; father of her daughters, John E. Ross; son, Eric Ross; sister, Linda Long; and brother, Charles Ray Wright.
