Marva Joyce White

Graveside services for Marva Joyce White, 94, of Apple Springs will be held Friday, November 10, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Bennett Cemetery in Apple Springs with Brother Mike Due officiating.

Mrs. White was born July 27, 1929 in Apple Springs, Texas to the late Vada (Tullos) and Marvin Rogers, and died Monday, November 6, 2023 at her residence.

Mrs. White was a homemaker all her life, but after graduating high school she got her beautician’s license and opened her own beauty shop for several years. She could talk your ear off. This meant she never met a stranger, only friends. She loved to cook, especially southern cooking, and loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren dearly. She also loved her cows and chickens.

Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Keith and Gwen White of Apple Springs and Larry and Brenda White of Lufkin; grandchildren, Heith White, Jace White, Zully Ramirez, Bailey and husband Rhett Peterson, Shanna and husband David Miceli, and Laurie White; great-grandchildren, Reese White, Cade White, Laney Peterson, Lexan Peterson, Lynlee Peterson, Aubrey Ramirez, Jordan Miceli, and Carson Miceli; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Jerrel D. White.

Pallbearers will be Heith White, Rhett Peterson, Reese White, Cade White, David Miceli, and Jordan Miceli.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jace White, and Carson Miceli.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Friday morning prior to the services.
