Martin Orta Badillo

Mass of Christian Burial for Martin Orta Badillo "Viejo", 51, of Lufkin will be held Wednesday, August 26, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. at St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church with Deacon Jesus Reyes officiating. Interment will follow in the Whitehouse Cemetery. Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday evening in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel.

Mr. Orta was born February 12, 1969 in San Felipe, Guanajuato, Mexico to Maria Consuelo (Badillo) and the late Martin Orta Pina, and died Saturday, August 22, 2020 in The Woodlands.

Survivors include his wife, Gloria L. (Vasquez) Orta of Lufkin; mother, Maria Consuelo Badillo of Lufkin; sons, Miguel Orta of Lufkin, Adan Orta of Mexico and Martin Orta of Lufkin; daughter, Yazmin Orta of Mexico; stepdaughter, Leslie Orta of Lufkin; stepson, Francisco Orta, Jr. of Lufkin; three grandchildren; seven brothers; two sisters; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Pallbearers will be Raul Orta, Rafael Orta, Carlos Orta, Jaime Orta, Ramiro Orta, Jose Orta, and Antonio Badillo.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening at Carroway Funeral Home.
