Martha Ann "Coonie" Rash Dennis

Memorial services for Martha Ann “Coonie” Rash Dennis, 77, of Huntington will be held Saturday, September 12, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel in Huntington with Pastor Stephen Willis officiating. Additional speakers will be Bo Dennis, Kenneth Simmons, and Matthew Miller. Visitation will be from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. prior to the service. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Carroway Funeral Home.

Ms. Dennis was born July 22, 1949 in San Augustine, Texas to the late Lillie Mae (Taylor) and America Meck Rash, and died Tuesday, August 25, 2026 at her residence. She resided in Huntington most of her life.

Ms. Dennis was a cheerleader in high school and worked in construction for many years. She enjoyed fishing, going to the beach, playing the slots at her favorite casinos, and playing bingo. She loved cooking for the holidays and having the whole family there. Most important in her life were her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved and adored them. Ms. Dennis was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include her children and spouses, Mecka and Trent Crawford, Tasha and Joey Page, and Bo and Bettie Dennis, all of Huntington; grandchildren, Colt, Cutter, Caleb, Shelby, Chasity, Kasey, Cassidy, Lulu, Cara, Haley, and Zachary; 29 great-grandchildren; siblings, Kenneth Rash, Wanda Price, and Betty Mae Rhame; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughters, Christy McClelland and Gina Williams; and siblings and spouses, Francis and Harold Collins (MawMaw and PawPaw), Bobby Rash, Gene and IvaNell Miller, Sue Horne, Jimmy Rhame, and Kenneth Price.

Pallbearers will be her grandchildren and honorary pallbearers will be her great-grandchildren.
