With heavy hearts yet steadfast faith in God's promises we announce the passing of Mark Anthony Farr into the presence of his Lord and Savior Friday, July 3, 2026 at 2:47p.m. at the age of 64. He peacefully departed from this world in the comfort of his home in Chandler, Texas. Though our hearts are broken by his absence, we rejoice knowing that he has heard the words, "well done, good and faithful servant". His earthly journey has ended, but his eternal life has just begun. Mark was a man of unwavering faith, quiet strength, and unconditional love. He lived his life with integrity, compassion and a servant’s heart, always striving to reflect Christ in the way he treated others. He was a member of Flint Baptist Church.

His greatest treasures were his faith, family and the countless moments spent loving those God placed in his life. He was born June 7, 1962 in Lufkin, Texas. He was the beloved son of Sherman Farr and Louise (Jamison) Farr.

Mark was a remarkable individual who led a fulfilling life. Mark dedicated 39 years of faithful service to Oncor Electric service, where he built a career marked by hard work and commitment. He was respected by his coworkers and took great pride in providing for his family through a lifetime of honest work.

Mark was preceded in death by his mother, Louise Farr; sister, Karen Farr Butler; brother, Barry Lyn Farr; and nieces, Valerie Nicole Farr and Amanda Renee Farr.

Mark was a cherished father to his son, Jacob Sherman Farr and wife Payton and daughter, Callie Michelle Farr. He shared his life and love with his devoted spouse, Sandy (Faulk) Farr. He also leaves behind his 6 brothers and sisters, Wyman Farr, Steven Farr, Margaret Sowell, Larry Farr, Mary Bowers, and Debbie Ernst, as well as his father, Sherman Farr. He is also survived by his parents-in-law, Frances and Charles Carenza, and Terry and Myriam Faulk, brother-in-law, Brad Faulk, sister-in-law, Ashley Holcomb, and numerous nieces and nephews.

As a husband, father, and brother he led by example. He taught the importance of hard work, humility, and trusting God through every season of life. His wisdom, laughter and steady presence brought comfort to those around him.

The values he instilled, the memories he created, and the unconditional love he gave will remain in the hearts of those who knew him for generations to come. In reflecting upon his life, we remember him as a faithful servant of the Lord, he lived a life centered on faith, service and love for his family. While we mourn the loss of his physical presence, we find peace in the promise of scripture and in the comforting words of Jesus; "I am the resurrection and the life, Whoever believes in Me, though he die, yet shall he live." - John 11:25.

We celebrate a life faithfully lived and a soul now made whole in the presence of God. His love, faith, kindness, and unwavering devotion to his family will remain in our hearts forever. He fought the good fight, finished the race, and kept the faith. His legacy will forever be etched in our hearts. Until we meet again, we take comfort in knowing this is not goodbye- it is simply "see you later". We thank God for the gift of your life, the lessons you taught us, and for the assurance that because of Christ, we will one day be reunited in Heaven.

Thank you for your presence and support during this difficult time.
