Mark Anthony

Mark Anthony, 62, passed away at his home on February 12. Born on May 23, 1962, to Joe and Frankie Anthony, Mark grew up in Lufkin, graduating from Lufkin High School in 1980 before attending Angelina College. He built a career in administration in Dallas before returning to Lufkin in 2010, where he embraced the lake lifestyle at Sam Rayburn. Mark had a deep passion for fishing, baseball, and sports statistics, and he cherished time spent with family and friends. For the last three years, he resided in Hudson, dedicating his days to caring for the family farm.

Mark is survived by his loving mother, Frankie Anthony; his sister and brother-in-law, Terry and David Carter of Little Elm; his brother-in-law, Neil Blackwell of Houston; three nieces; one nephew; and seven great-nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Joe Anthony and sisters, Kathy Blackwell and Cindy Anthony.

Per Mark’s wishes, no services will be held.

Rest in peace, Mark. You will be forever in our hearts.
