Marion Sue Chambers

Funeral services for Marion Sue Chambers, 57, of Lufkin, will be held Thursday, December 6, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Eastview Pentecostal Church with Brother David Hunt and Brother M.H. Shubert officiating. Interment will follow in Bronson Cemetery.

Ms. Chambers was born November 30, 1961 in Houston, Texas, the daughter of Mary Jo (Golden) and the late Esko Chambers.  She died Sunday, December 2, 2018 at her residence.

Ms. Chambers had resided in Lufkin for 23 years and was a former resident of Etoile. She had been employed with Quest as a lab carrier. She was a loving mother and grandmother, loved to cook, loved reading her Bible and quilting. She was a member of Eastview Pentecostal Church.

Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Melissa and Chris Henson of Lufkin, Vanessa and Nathan Banfield of Lufkin; grandchildren, Carissa Henson, Alissa Henson, Marissa Henson, Michael Henson, Natalie Banfield, and Valerie Banfield; great grandsons, Rylan Shuell and Hayden Shuell; mother, Mary Jo Chambers of Huntington; brothers, Curtis Chambers of Livingston, David Chambers and wife Dottie of Huntington, and Paul Chambers of Rochester, New York; sister, Cathy Chambers of Lufkin; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her father and a sister, Sharon Chambers.

Pallbearers will be David Chambers, David Seymore, Nathan Banfield, Michael Henson, Chris Shuell, Chris Henson, Roger Chambers, and Darrell Chambers.

Honorary pallbearers will be Paul Chambers, Curtis Chambers, and Tristan Chambers.

The family will receive friends and loved ones from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
