Graveside services for Annie Marie Pyle (99) of Lufkin will be held Thursday, March 23, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. in the Gann Cemetery. Officiating: Pastor Shawn King and Tracy Pyle.

Her Journey’s Just Begun

Our Loving Mother, Maw Maw, Mow Mow, Sister, Aunt, and friend, went to be with Jesus on March 18 ^th , 2023.

Annie Marie Pyle (99) of Lufkin, was transferred to her heavenly home, March 18 ^th , 2023. She was born July 3, 1923 in Randlett Oklahoma to the late Charlie Alfred Brock and Willie (Welch) Brock.

She resided in Lufkin most of her life. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved her family and devoted her life to being an inspiration to those around her. She was devoted to her Christian faith, taught her children the plan of salvation and God’s love and grace for us. She taught us right from wrong; if we chose wrong, you certainly got the rod, and learned right! She abided by Proverbs 13:24 “Spare the rod, spoil the child.” Biblical rod, meaning guide and discipline. In Biblical times, the rod was used by shepherds to herd sheep, as Christ leads and guides us today. The Lord is my Shepherd.

Nothing but our sadness can really pass away. Our Mother’s love lives in our heart and those she touched. For nothing loved, is ever lost, and she was loved so much.

Survivors: Son and Daughter-in-law Charles and Shirley Pyle of Huntington. Daughter and Son-in-law Jerri and Tommy Crawford of Ratcliff. Son-in-law Rayford Quine of Ratcliff. Daughter-in-law Kathy Pyle of Huntington. Daughter-in-law Beverly Pyle of Kennard.

Grandchildren: Kelly & Brian Page, Jerrie & Kevin Wisener, Micheal & Jamie Pyle, Lisa & Archie Reeves, Ginger Pyle, Jennifer & James Abshire.

Great Grandchildren: Ashlee & Zach Fennell, Taylor & Kevin Markham, Sadie & Greg Goodwin, Kallie & Brody Capps, Kadie Beth & Drew McVicker, Cody & Trina Pierce, Kolton Thibodeaux, Colby Pyle, Shelby & Caden Abshire.

Great-Great Grandchildren: Zoe Fennell, Hadlee & Henlee Goodwin, Brynlee Gray Pierce, Lillie Beth McVicker, Hunner Markham.

Sister & Brother-in-law Charlene & Joe Pyle, Sister-in-law Rena Brock, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her Husband, James Hershel Pyle, Sons: James Ray Pyle, Donald Rex Pyle, Daughter: Glenda Ann Quine, Siblings: JD Brock, Alfred Brock, Juanita Pyle, and Faye Naron.
